@johnjacob Text to speech would be a bit of a challenge technologically. If we do that, then I may wanna limit it to macOS and Windows, because tts quality on Linux is currently not great. Anyway, I created an issue on GitHub just to keep track of this request:

At this point I can't tell you whether or when these will be implemented, but I'll have a closer look soon to understand the efforts.

The new name is going to be Ezra Bible App.

I was actually thinking about this at some point already.
Yes, this would be technically possible. I have just opened a GitHub issue for this request. It would require some heavy lifting in the SWORD backend first. I am going to ask the SWORD developers whether this could be supported in the SWORD library. I think that would be the pre-condition to implement such a feature.
