I'm interested on built EZRA-Project for OBS (the openSUSE build service project). In order to accomplish it I need to know a few things, the first one is if some binaries or proprietary libraries are used on EZRA build time or usage. I'll need to know if it is fine, and the main team is agreed.
Thanks for your initiative! There are no proprietary libraries or binaries used in Ezra Project. It should be all open-source.
There is a wiki page that documents the build process:
One thing to note is ... there has been a request to rename the product based on the fact that there is another Ezra Project out there. I aligned with the requestor and agreed to implement the change in the next release (that would be 0.18.0, released around April 20th).
The packaging for OBS should probably not happen before this change has been implemented.
@admin I'm just curious about the new name of the project. But I'll wait until is ready for doing everything I have in mind.
The new name is going to be Ezra Bible App.
This is already visible in the GitHub master branch.
You can follow the renaming actions here.
